Canopy Extension for Loading Bay

Canopy Extension

We were approached by an international yacht maker who needed additional space for their coach-building department.

Due to the high-value of the materials used, they asked for a canopy extension to enable their vehicles to reverse into the structure so the goods could be unloaded in a dry area.

Smart-space provided a 30m x 10m building with a canopy extension and a sub-structured floor because the building was on uneven ground spanning a disused road. The building, along with the level floor has given their craftsmen an additional 300 sq m of workspace.
